Sixth man charged in Carolina Beach sexual assault of a minor case found in Georgia

Jul. 1—Sixth man who was wanted in Carolina Beach in connection with the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl was found in Georgia.

Patrick Austin Wise, 20, was wanted for alleged first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and taken into custody by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office in Rome, Georgia at 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Thursday morning Carolina Beach police news release.

Wise is currently confined on a “No Bond hold for a fugitive from justice warrant” and is awaiting the extradition process, the release said.

The Carolina Beach Police Department concluded a two-and-a-half year-long criminal investigation resulting in the arrests of five other men, according to a Sunday evening Carolina Beach police news release.

Austen Charles Tounsel Montouri, 21, is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and under a $100,000 secured bond; Brayden David Walker, 21, is charged with second-degree forcible rape, second-degree forcible sex offense, first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and under a $50,000 secured bond; Corey Tate Webster, 20, is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, second-degree forcible sex offense, three counts of assault on law enforcement and under a $130,000 secured bond; Nicholas James Foutty, 23, is charged with second-degree forcible rape, statutory rape of a child, statutory sex offense of a child, second-degree forcible sex offense, three counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of indecent liberties with a child and under a $100,000 secured bond; and Riley Scott Crouch, 21, is charged with statutory sex offense of a minor, second-degree forcible sex offense, three counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and under a $125,000 secured bond.

The investigation began after information and evidence was located from a house party on Oct. 31, 2018, where the minor was in attendance and allegedly assaulted by multiple men whom videoed and photographed the assault, the release said.

Carolina Beach Police Chief Vic Ward was not immediately available for comment on the conclusion of the investigation.
